What to expect:
Sing. Sound. Connect. Express.
An hour and 15 minutes of vocal creativity, inspired by the practices of Circle Singing and Collaborative Vocal Improvisation.
Through gentle guidance and playful explorations, we will practice bringing our full voices and our loud listening to create together.
Who is this group for?
This group is for people who want to explore vocal improvisation together. Perhaps you haven’t been able to make a term of SongLab but still want to experience the space it creates.
Perhaps you have been in a choir or singing group for a while, or you lead choirs and you want to develop more freedom in your voice and creative expressions?
Come and join SongLab for a one off session! We will likely head to Folk Night at the Hop Yard afterwards too - make a whole night of it!
Who are Naamah and Hannah?
Hannah Robson
You can find out more about me and my approach here but in short, I’m Hannah, your storytelling, song-sharing herbalist. I run weekly community singing groups as well as seasonal workshops such as Herbs 𝄞 Harmony.
Naamah Pinkerfeld
Naamah has been leading weekly choirs and singing groups for almost two decades in Forest Row and beyond. She is known for her passionate community making through song.
