Story of the song:
This song came to me during a storytelling workshop. Roi Gal-Or, a wonderful storyteller, shared these words with another participant as a mantra and I felt that words were so important for me I wanted to remember them and it is often easier to remember a song than words.
Teaching tips:
A relatively simple song to teach. It works as a sort of call and response.
Why is this song free?
I was not the author of these words - they came to me by chance and feature in a book by Robyn L Posin and in a song called Gentle with myself by Karen Drucker. For these reasons I do not feel it is my place to sell this song but I would love for it to be shared far and wide.
